Class 1 · F4.1
Pour sizes and how to ask
Beer arrives in more sizes than any other drink, most of them are not printed anywhere, and the word pint means two different things depending on which country you are standing in. This is the page the rest of the course points at.
about 12 min2 screens20 questions
By the end of this class you will be able to
- Name every pour size an American bar can serve you, in ounces
- Say what a pint is as a unit, and why the glass in your hand may hold less
- Tell a pour size apart from a glass size
- Ask for the size you want in one plain sentence, and get seen while you do it
Before you start
If you only read one screen in Module F4, read the second one. The sizes are worth knowing. The sentences are the part you will use tonight.
